Media Council of Kenya condemns DCI’s attempt to summon Royal Media Services Editorial Leadership

The Kenya Police forces refuted any associations with firearms and handcuffs presented to them by Citizen.

This followed the damning expose aired on Royal Media Services’ Citizen TV.

Administration Police officers guarding Royal Media Services (RMS) premises have been withdrawn and the editorial leadership has been summoned.

Consequently, Media Council of Kenya condemns DCI’s attempt to summon Royal Media Services editorial managers and staff over the investigative piece on alleged hiring out of guns by the police.
